God’s Loan
"I'll lend to you for a little time,
A child of mine," He said,
"For you to love the while she lives
And mourn for when she's dead.
"It may be six or seven years
Or twenty-two or three,
But will you till I call her back,
Take care of her for me?
"She'll bring her charms to gladden you
And should her stay be brief,
You'll have these precious memories
As solace for your grief.
"I cannot...
My humbling experience (2)
If you haven’t read the post below this one (My humbling experience, 1) then do not read this until you’ve read that one. The conclusion of this will not make sense, but be equally painful, as I continued from where I’ve left off.
Isaiah 41:10
That’s the scripture that my sweet Sister Tuckett, my previous Mia Maid leader, gave me. She smiled kindly and held my hand as I cried on her...

My humbling experience.
This week I’ve lacked in posting due to a significant and tragic event that has forever changed my life. Last Saturday, February 4th, I was driving my brother and cousin home from grocery shopping. It was around 4:15pm, so the sun was timidly starting to fade to gold and the skylight was dropping. The entire world seemed to be slowly progressing into nighttime.
We were driving on a rural road...
Satan is working...
I don’t know who will read this, or how they’ll feel about what I’m sharing, but I feel inclined by the Spirit to let you all know that Satan is hard at work.
He does not love you—he’s using you to go against God. You are on God’s side through every aspect of this journey of life. Satan has no respect for God, so he’ll do anything to manipulate us into...

I want to see God again with my own two eyes, smiling down at me, like a father...
justsimplymyself asked: I just wanted to say that I love your blog and that I am so glad to see others who are not ashamed to publicly share their testimony! Thank you for the inspiration <3
ordinary-faith asked: Hi! I know that you are a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I was wondering if you could give me some of your testimony and opinion on the Church. I have recently been called in my heart to learn about the Mormon Church, and I want to know all I can. Thank you! God Bless :)

Daily Miracle
Today…I sinned.
I sinned, and the sin didn’t hurt, but the aftershock did. I sat in my room, fell to my knees, and begged the Lord to forgive me.
The Lord forgave me, and blessed me. He blessed me that I would be strong and refrain from my sin.
The Lord loves us infinitely. The Atonement is so real, and the blessings from it are as well.

The L in LOVE
These words are purely mine… but all those there who struggle with the concept, feeling, or understanding of love, allow me to at least help you to the best of my ability.
LOVE is not LUST. They are similar in feeling and emotion, but different between what is bad and what is good. LOVE:
L is For:
Loyalty…hmm, whenever people say “loyalty”, I personally always just say, “Who cares?” because...

Daily Miracle
I never realized how many miracles are in my daily life. I had never really given it a thought, to be honest—but today, I realized many important things. Firstly, let me introduce you to Connor, my absolute best friend in the entire world. Connor and I met ‘formally’ on trek last summer, despite being in the same ward for almost two years and saying four or five words to each other....

Today I am happy...
Today is a good day to be happy. In Alma (in the Book of Mormon), I found something interesting and lovely…
Alma 41:5 The one raised to ahappiness according to his desires of happiness, or good according to his desires of good; and the other to evil according to his desires of evil; for as he has desired to do evil all the day long even so shall he have his reward of evil when the night...

Inspiration
Today, my Laurel advisor, a very sweet British lady named Sister Dozey, gave a lesson about feeling the Holy Ghost. I woke up late today, missed out on sacrament meeting, and my day was lacking spiritually. I felt overwhelmed by sleep since last night was the dance and I had stayed out late with my group.
I wore my creme dress and a black cardigan. Unfortunately, my hair was a disaster from...

Who Says Mormonism Is a Cult?
The view of Mormonism:
“Mormonism is considered a non-Christian cult by all of Christianity.”
Let me tell you about this… it is truthfully and entirely wrong. First of all, ‘Christianity’ is a definition outlined by the “belief of Jesus Christ.” My heart, my soul… every part of me believes in Jesus Christ. In fact, it’s not just typical belief, it’s knowledge. I have been...

Hmmm...
In a few moments, I’ll have a page up with some background information, but for now, all I can say is that I’ve felt spiritually inspired to start this blog for the record of my personal, secret online diary as an adolescent teenage member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before the judgment and the commentary begin, this is what I’ll say…
My life is wonderful. My life...
