Finding the Good...

I came from a low point. Through a series of events that are still going on, I’ve managed to uncover things that I love to keep me going. I’m a 16-year-old writer, journalist, and secret-keeper. I have a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its full truth. I love Jane Austen, classical music, and comedy. I have a goal to search for things that help me grow, and right now, I’m on a journey to find the good in my life, all for the purpose of being irrevocably happy.

My life is great.  Why? Because I chose to let it be that way. No, not because I let it, but because I worked for it.

I was fortunate to be born into a faithful, religious family that pursues our lives driven deep into the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Who am I? I am a Mormon.  No, not the worldly view of a Mormon, but a happy, tried Mormon.

I know that Jesus Christ is really the Son of God.  And when I say this, I’m saying this as an educated, sane person.  I’ve heard the dealings from other churches and other religious views… I’ve heard and considered them, but never in my life have I ever experienced confirmation elsewhere besides the Mormon Church.

My life is happy, and I’m determined to keep it that way through Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, who I truly love.

The Book of Mormon is reality.  Every word pressed upon those pages come with every undeniable truth there is—I, being sane and educated as you know, have been confirmed to with the words of the Lord.  And I mean this in every way.

I love my life.  I promise you with every part of my being that you can be happy too if you just try and discover the Lord.  There is no better way to do so than to experience what I have through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
